Everybody Loves A Rensco Parade:

Looking for something the entire family can enjoy this Memorial Day? Then come to Rensselaer County for some family fun that only a parade can bring, as multiple communities throughout the county will be celebrating our veterans, both past & present.

May 23rd: Melrose/ Schaghticoke/ Valley Falls & Johnsonville Parade,  stepping off in Valley Falls. 6:30pm line-up, with the parade kicking off at 7:00pm

May 25th: East Greenbush Parade will be lining up at 9am @Spare Time Bowling Alley, with the parade beginning at 10am sharp. Parking will be available  at the old K-Mart parking lot, with van transport available to the bowling alley. The parade will kick off at 10am, ending at the Melvin Roads AL.

May 26th: Rensselaer Parade. 1pm ceremony, with the parade step-off at 2pm. Participants will meet near the Doane Stuart School parking lot @ Forbes Ave. & Washington Ave.

May 27th: Sand Lake Parade will line up at 9am at Averill Ave., with the step-off at 10am — it will proceed east on NY 43 to the Sand Lake Veterans Memorial Park where a ceremony will be conducted.

May 27th: Hoosick Falls Parade- Line-up @9:30am in park, step-off at 10:00am.

May 27th: Castleton Parade- Line-up @9:30am at Bolton Ave., step-off at 10:00am.

May 27th: Veterans of Lansingburgh Parade-  Line-up at 10:15am, step off at 11:00am. Meet at 124th & 5th Ave., left side heading south.

May 27th: Berlin Parade –Step-off at 11:00am on Maple Ave.

May 27th: Poestenkill Parade, step-off at 11:00am.

May 27th: North Greenbush Parade — Line-up at 12:45pm @Town Hall, step-off at 1:30pm

May 27th: Nassau Parade — Line-up at 1:00pm (up & down John St.), step-off at 2:00pm. Ceremony to follow at VFW Post #8162, Lyons Lake Road.
