Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site is the location of a Revolutionary War battle between the British forces of General John Burgoyne and Colonel Friedrich Baum against the American forces under Brigadier General John Stark and Colonel Seth Warner.

Hearthside at Crailo
May 14 is the opening day of Crailo State Historic Site’s 2014 season. Starting on May 14 and running through October 31, tours will be held Wednesday through Sunday at 11:00 am, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00pm. Tours of Crailo last approximately an hour. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, with children 12 and under free. Combination tickets with nearby Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site are available as well.
